Some Day...

I've been working 60-70 hours a week the last couple of years...and we still don't have anything to show for it. In China, I was doing my work, plus studying the stock market. In August, we moved back to the US and I delivered pizzas plus studied the market. From January until April, I worked 7 nights a week, and did my stock research. Now, I'm building a business as a financial adviser/life and health insurance agent, while at the same time delivering pizzas 30 hours a week, plus trying to keep up with my stock market homework. After all of that, if you look at our savings account...it just keeps getting slimmer and slimmer.

Some day, I won't have to tell my wife and son that we don't have enough money to do things they want to do. Some day, my wife will drive a car that doesn't have a shattered windshield...some day, I will be able to roll up my windows and turn on the air conditioning in my car...because it will work...Some day, we will be able to give lots of money towards reaching the unreached...some day.

My favorite book says, "He who tills his land will have plenty of food."

I believe.

  2. Rob, I remeber the time I had to worked every holiday to help meet our bills. I missed the Thanksgivings and 4th of July...even some Christmas' with the children.
I cooked from 6 am to 3:0o pm then went home to do it some more =(
I painted my diningroom floor every year cause we just did not have the money for remodeling. My kitchen counter tops had floor linoleum on it ...cause I had it left over from
the kitchen floor we HAD to have replaced.
When I started working for Dr. Conte, I worked every weekend and could not see the kids play ball or ever make it to a game...I worked till 7:00, 8:00 even 12:00 one night. ( that was the night Billy and Erin were in the car accident)
God said, For those things you do in secret, I will award you openly.
Every thing hidden will be revealed..God, has been so kind to me...He made me the HEAD and not the TAIL.
I am able to bless the people around me I Love.
And have my wants and not just my needs..
He has never failed me yet...and continues to be my provider. All came with labor and with giving up more than I ever wanted.
There was times I resented having to work and miss being with my family...but God new the season would pass.
In due season we shall reap if we faint not...
    We love you Rob.
Happy New Year...Be well..Be strong and be encouraged rejoice in the Lord your provider
